Clearing your Cache and Cookies

Clearing cache and cookies can help with various issues like loading or formatting problems on websites. Here's how to do it for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari:

• NOTE: clearing your cookies will sign you out of most websites, and you may lose some saved data (like saved login information and site preferences).

Chrome

1. Click on the three dots in the upper-right corner to open the menu.
2. Hover over "More tools" and then click on "Clear browsing data".
3. In the window that appears, you can choose the time range. To delete everything, select "All time".
4. Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".
5. Click "Clear data".
   
   

Microsoft Edge

1. Open Edge and click on the three dots at the top right to access the menu.
2. Click on Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
3. Under Clear browsing data, click on Choose what to clear.
4. Select a time range from the drop-down menu. For everything, choose All time.
5. Check the boxes for "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".
6. Click Clear now.
   
   

Mozilla Firefox

1. Open Firefox and click on the menu button (three horizontal lines) at the top right.
2. Select Settings > Privacy & Security.
3. Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data and click Clear Data.
4. Check the boxes for "Cookies and Site Data" and "Cached Web Content".
5. Click Clear.
   
   

Safari (for macOS)

1. Open Safari and go to Safari > Preferences in the menu bar.
2. Click on the Privacy tab.
3. Click on Manage Website Data.
4. You can remove data for individual sites here or click Remove All to clear all data.
5. To clear the cache, you need to enable the Develop menu from Safari > Preferences > Advanced, by checking the box at the bottom that says "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
6. Once enabled, click Develop in the menu bar, then select Empty Caches.
